What's not
is the revenge of thought.
Time provides us
with the desire for escape.
Teaches us
the lessons of mortality.
The boat out at sea
carries souls--
horizon's children,
to freedom.
There are things we leave out
when retelling a dream.
Like the moment when
you looked into the mirror
and the hours
changed features--
disappeared.
